Cancellation Policy


All cancellations for our shaded rental items that require a reservation must be requested 5 days prior to reservation day to receive a full refund. Refunds may take 3-7 business days to process through Square. The booking system will let you adjust and cancel your reservation if you are outside of that five days prior to reservation window

In the past we have had to use extenuating circumstances for cancellations due to Covid-19.  However, we have found, as most companies that rely on reservation systems, that people tend to abuse or not be truthful with their claims.   Our extenuating circumstances policy is intended to protect our guests and staff from unforeseen circumstances that arise after booking.  After the declaration of Covid-19 as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, the extenuating circumstances no longer applies because Covid-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected.  Therefore, any guest who attest they have Covid-19 will be moved to another available day with an equal rental.  The following year is also a viable option. 

We appreciate you planning your time with us at Fugitive Beach.  As many are aware, we are a family owned business that we built by literally carrying every rock out of the water one at a time.  It has taken a lot of work with broken fingers, toes, getting hit by a tree, and a permanent dent in ole lady Kearse's leg (sadly all this happened to her).   It is always an evolving work in progress, as we can, to grow. We love it and we know you will too.  With that being said, we feel that we have to make a firm stance with the cancellation policy.  We want you to enjoy yourselves at Fugitive Beach- we can work with you as much as you need- just keep communicating with one of our great grandkids/nieces/nephews/let's throw in my dear friend Lori too.  We will do our best to get you situated but we have to stop some careless behaviors as well.  Thank for understanding, D'ettra  

We are so sorry, no cancellations or refunds if you are inside that five day window prior to the reservation date.  Please do not ask us to tell you no-any inquires will go unanswered unfortunately .
